Shakarkandi ki Chaat
This is a sweet and tangy chaat made with sweet potatoes mingled with spices and lemon juice. It is a yummy snack which is filling while being packed with nutrients and fibre at the same time.
1. Boil the sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker for 4-5 whistles or roast in an oven for 30 minutes. Ensure that the sweet potatoes don't become very mushy.
2. Once cooled slightly, peel the sweet potatoes and dice them into cubes.
3. Mix all the spices and lime juice well and serve.
You will need to keep the intensity of the spices and the lemon juice on a slightly higher side to balance the sweetness and dense texture of the sweet potatoes.
